2. This website

Contact form

When you send a message we receive your name, email address, subject and message. We use them only to reply to you. The message is delivered to our inbox by Resend (email delivery) and the site is hosted by Vercel. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, normally no longer than two years. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps you ask us to take before a contract.

Protecting the form from spam

To stop automated spam we use Vercel BotID (an invisible check that your browser is operated by a person), a signed token that records when the form was opened, and rate limits based on your IP address and email address, held by Upstash for up to one day. Submissions that our filters classify as spam are not delivered; we keep them for up to 30 days so that we can check that no genuine message was blocked. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

Hosting and logs

Vercel processes your IP address and technical request data to serve the site and protect it from attacks. These logs are kept for a short period under Vercel's retention settings.

Analytics

• Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights always run. They store nothing on your device and identify visits with a hash that is discarded after 24 hours. We see aggregate figures such as page views, referring sites and page-load performance. Lawful basis: legitimate interests; you can object by contacting us.
• Google Analytics 4 runs only if you accept analytics cookies. Before you choose, no Google script is loaded. It records pages viewed, approximate location and device information to help us understand how the site is used. Advertising features are switched off. You can change your choice at any time in Cookie settings. Lawful basis: consent.

Cookies

Vercel BotID may use browser storage while it checks a form submission; this is strictly necessary for security.

3. Who we share data with

We use these service providers: Vercel (hosting, analytics, bot protection), Resend (email delivery), Upstash (rate limiting) and, only with your consent, Google (Google Analytics). Some of them process data outside the UK, mainly in the United States; such transfers are covered by the UK–US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We do not sell personal data.

4. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for access to your personal data, and for its correction, deletion or transfer. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests, restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email contact@mobilevisiontechnologies.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

5. Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls and reputable providers to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will act promptly if a problem occurs.
